Minister's Message

Dear Friends,

The realization of human “spiritual purpose and potential” in this rapidly changing world is becoming more and more important, is it not? As we use more and more of the planet’s resources to enhance our individual and collective well being we are awakening to how we impact the overall condition of the planet in more and more ways. We also know that the planet’s health and the health of our species are tied together; they are inseparable. So, it will be in our best interests to awaken to our new responsibilities in looking after the planet’s health. That’s what’s needed to insure the continued and advancing prosperity we want for ourselves and our offspring.

The good news is that we can do that. When our extraordinary human creative minds are aligned with spirit we have the capacity to respond to the changing conditions of life on our planet in positive, life affirming, prosperity creating ways. Aligned with spirit we can insure the planet’s health, and by doing that, insure the health and prosperity of our species.

This alignment takes place as we awaken to the presence of Spirit within and around us. Awakened, we are able to experience the Oneness of Spirit. Awakened, we come to realize how that Oneness must be recognized and honored as a foundation of our belief systems and the choices we make. The growing awareness of a planetary spiritual and material Oneness combined with the awareness of the globalized, accelerating impact of our choices on the planet is new to us. It presents a challenge.

The good news is that we have the answer within us. The challenge is to bring the answers forth into manifestation among us. The answers come to us through a commitment to spiritual practices - a commitment to realize one’s own spiritual purpose and potential. But, that alone is not enough. The answers bear fruit in practical ways, both in our personal lives and in this world through our choice to associate with and join with others on the awakened spiritual path. That is very good news!

But, wait, (as they say in the infomercials), there is even more. When we make the choice to help others realize their spiritual purpose and potential we open ourselves and our lives to enhanced experiences of prosperity….today! When human beings join with each other in alignment with Spirit - with the Oneness of everything - when human beings seek the realization of their own and others spiritual purpose and potential, and when we come into a full realization of what we can do together, well, the future is unlimited….and the future is ours today! We can make it a prosperous future. That is the good news of Unity. That is what our spiritual community is about.
